A LITTLE ‘HISTORY INFERMIERISITICA
To get an idea of what the nursing profession, I propose in this and some articles that will follow a bit of history of nurses.Do not want to leave the Stone Age, but certainly we can locate the beginning of the nursing (as a real training school) in Italy in early 1900.
The concept of a nurse with a body of knowledge acquired through a preparatory school and the use of certain theories (the so-called “nursing”), entered Italy in 1860 by the aristocratic women and foreign women, which they called “nurses” to foreign open the first school for nurses. But these were not defined as real schools, but rather a set of courses, lectures, meetings, without a defined body of teachings. Read the rest of this entry »
